A 110-year-old Madrasah in India was set ablaze by Hindutva
A Hindutva mob set fire to a 110-year-old madrasa and its attached library in Bihar, India. The Madrasah Azizia was 110 years old and contained a library with thousands of religious and other books, including copies of the Holy Quran.

Indian media reported violent incidents and riots during the Ram Navami rallies across the country. This included the one in which Hindu fanatics stormed the Azizia Madrasah.
Muslim properties and mosques across India were damaged during the week-long Ram Navami festival processions. In the meantime, there were clashes with the police. The attack came three days after mobs burned down homes and shops during the town's festival celebrations, which were often frenzied.
According to reports, a prominent Muslim school was burnt down during the festival in Bihar Sharif.
Around 20 people were injured by the extremists' fires during this one week that involved a police station and several police vehicles.

Police have not taken action against those who attacked and burned down the madrasah despite the administrator's request to register a case.
