Winter vacations to be held at the end of January consensus reached in NCOC meeting
At the NCOC meeting held today, it was decided that winter vacations would be held at the end of January.
According to Express news, the meeting was chaired by education minister Shafqat Mahmood, in which it was decided by all stakeholders that the winter vacations for all educational institutes were to be held at the end of January. Sources say this decision was reached with a consensus.
Sources state that recommendations were taken from all provinces in the inter-provincial education ministers' meeting and were then discussed, and it was decided that the vaccination process would continue in all schools and also that schools would remain closed in snowy areas.
Earlier, A statement was issued by the federal education minister, Shafqat Mahmood, that inter-provincial ministers in the meeting gave the proposal of keeping winter vacations between December 25 and January 5. However, the notification will be issued by provincial governments.
