Winners of the Iqbal Awards for the years 2015-20 Revealed
Pakistan's President, Dr. Arif Alvi, approved the Presidential Iqbal Awards for the years 2015-2020. Muhammad Ikram Chaghatai, Dr. Abdul Khaliq, and Ghous Bakhsh Saber are among the award winners.
Mohammad Ikram Chaghatai has received the Iqbal Award for a book titled "Iqbal and Germany" on Iqbal philosophy.
Ghous Bakhsh Sabir received the Presidential Iqbal Award for writing an influential Balochi language book on Iqbal.
Abdul Khaliq's English book "Allama Iqbal, Khudi and Other Concepts" has been approved for the Presidential Iqbal Award.
The President has approved the awards under Article 48A of the Constitution and the Iqbal Academy Ordinance 1962. It should be noted that Dr. Arif Alvi is the Patron-in-Chief of Iqbal Academy Pakistan
