Updated MBBS guidelines were introduced at the University of Health Sciences

First-year medical students at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) adopted a new assessment policy during a meeting presided over by Vice-Chancellor Ahsan Waheed Rathore.

Under the new regulations, the first professional MBBS exam would consist of four assessments for a total of 1000 points.

In addition to physiology, anatomy, and biochemistry, minor disciplines include behavioral sciences, public health, community medicine, pharmacology, pathology, and clinical foundations.

A number of topics will be covered, including professionalism, technology, ethics, research, and leadership. 50% is the passing grade for university professional examinations.

It has been reported that the VC Rathore plans to release samples of the university's sample papers and that the university will require internal and external examiners to submit their scores individually.

The examination monitoring system has also been enhanced to keep an eye out for any irregularities. A candidate must score at least 85% in overall performance and 80% in the written test to earn distinction.
