Two teachers in India throw students off the balcony
In the Indian capital of New Delhi, a teacher tortured a fifth-grade student before throwing her down from the first floor.
A police officer detained the teacher after being called to the spot as soon as the incident occurred at 11 am on Friday, according to Indian media reports. Other students and teachers gathered around the crime scene.
The girl was immediately given first aid at the hospital where her injuries were treated. She told the police that she had done nothing wrong. The teacher hit her with scissors, pulled her hair, threw her down the first floor, and then hit her again.
It is believed that the girl suffered many injuries and police are continuing their investigation.
In addition, the teacher has been dismissed by the school's management.
However, another horrific incident occured in Karnataka, where a student was killed after being beaten by his teacher.
On Monday, December 19, a 10-year-old boy died after being beaten up by his teacher, Muthappa, and thrown off the first floor by him.
Bharath, an eighth-grader at a government school was identified as the victim. After being taken to the Nargund taluk hospital with severe bleeding, he was shifted to the KIMS hospital in Hubballi where he passed away due to his injuries.
The Gadag SP told The News Minute that Muthappa, 33, was a guest teacher at the school and has been missing since the shocking incident took place.
To catch Muthappa, the police have registered an FIR and organized a search operation.
