The Pakistan LAT Test 2023 has been announced by HEC
Those who seek to pursue undergraduate five-year LLB programs at public and private HEC-recognized institutions in Pakistan will benefit from this news. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) conducts the Law Admission Test (LAT) in major cities of Pakistan.
The LAT Test measures the attitude of prospective students toward pursuing a law degree and pursuing legal careers. Lawyers, consultants, judges, attorneys, and prosecutors may fall into this category. LAT applications must be submitted by January 10th, 2023.
Online applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
Who is Eligible for the HEC LAT?
- A minimum of 55% marks must be achieved in HSSC/inter/equivalent qualifications
- HSSC/inter exams candidates who are awaiting results can also apply
The LAT application process is as follows:
- In order to apply for LAT online, candidates should go to the following website: http://etc.hec.gov.pk
- During registration, candidates are given the option to create and complete a profile
- Click the "Law Admission Test" button in the online portal to submit your LAT application
- Submit the LAT application and test fee
- In any HBL branch, the Rs. 1,250/- LAT test fee can be paid online or by hand
- The account number is 17427900133401 and the account title is Higher Education Commission
- Candidates who want to submit the LAT fee by hand can get the fee challan online. After submission, upload a scanned copy of the paid fee challan to the ETC online registration portal
- This will allow you to successfully submit your LAT test application
Date & instructions for the HEC LAT exam:
- Application deadline for LAT test is 10 January 2023
- LAT exam will be held tentatively on 22nd January 2022 (any changes in exam date will be updated on www.hec.gov.pk and http://etc.gov.edu.pk)
- A week before the exam, registered applicants (registered through the ETC online registration process) will be able to download their roll number slips from the ETC online portal
- The HEC will send you an email/SMS to inform you about the test date, time and venue if candidates provide valid email/mobile numbers
- In the application form, candidates can choose their preferred examination hall from the list of major cities in Pakistan. It is not possible to change the examination centre/hall after the application has been submitted
- For entry into LAT test centers, roll number slips, original fee challans, and original CNIC cards are required
- The LAT test is required for admission to all HEC-recognized private and public institutions in Pakistan offering LLB degrees
