Sindh Government Issued Notification For Public Holiday
The Government of Sindh has officially announced that the upcoming day of Wednesday 23rd of March 2022 to be observed as a Public holiday on the joyous occasion of “Pakistan Day” to be celebrated throughout the province of Sindh. Only exceptional services such as prevention and control of Covid-19 emergency will remain active on this day.

Pakistan Day Parade
The Pakistan armed forces usually showcase their military might by holding military parades held by Pakistan Navy, Air force and Army. The president of Pakistan and the prime minister of Pakistan usually attend the Pakistan day parade. They usually deliver 23 march Pakistan resolution day speech. All national buildings are decorated, and the national flag of Pakistan is held high on this Day. Pakistan resolution day posters will be hung on this day.

History of Pakistan Resolution Day
Pakistan Day is celebrated to remember the “Lahore Resolution” act of 1940 or “Pakistan resolution” that resulted in the creation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During the festive day, the day is celebrated with a morning parade by the Pakistan military and certain civilian parades, which are carried out in the capital city of Islamabad, followed by gun salutations in the capital city along with provincial capital cities as well. During this day, the president of Pakistan honours civilians and government officers with national awards and presidency medals to people who have dedicated their entire lives and provided special services to the nation. Garlands are also presented at the mausoleums of Allama Muhammad Iqbal situated in Lahore and also at Muhammad Ali Jinnah Mausoleum at Karachi. All government offices, major businesses, banks and educational institutes are to remain closed on this special day.
