He represented Pakistan in the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) 61st session in Vienna, Austria, in 2018. He received his second Sitar-e-Imtiaz in March 2018.
Shehzad Roy emphasises the importance of forming a strong child protection team that includes the police, as well as the departments of health, education, and social welfare. He believes that child abuse in schools or at homes is more of a society issue than a police and order issue, which is why the social welfare department must intervene.
Roy's Zindegi Trust successfully assisted the provincial government in changing the teacher’s performance evaluation method for government elementary schools in Sindh, which was a major reform for the education sector.
