Roots International & Pearson Education Limited join forces to provide international qualifications to students
Pearson Education Limited and Roots International Schools & Colleges have joined forces to offer Pearson Edexcel's complete set of qualifications to students at Roots International schools and colleges. This is part of the program designed to make Pakistani students potentially capable of joining higher education in world institutions of excellence.
The two sides signed an agreement during a ceremony in Lahore on Tuesday to establish this collaboration.
Irum Khan, General Manager Academics at Roots International Schools & Colleges, and Kathryn Booth, Director of Pearson Schools Qualifications, Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan/Turkey, signed the agreement.
On the occasion, senior officials of organizations as well as academicians and guest students were also present.
Roots International, whose headquarters are located in Islamabad, will be able to continue collaborating with Pearson Edexcel on exams, supporting resources, and professional development courses.
Each side plans to introduce Early Years programs for their 2,000 students and iPrimary in all their branches. As part of the second phase of the collaboration, international GCSEs and A levels will be offered on the main campuses as well
