Punjab: School Timings to Change from October 15th
The school timings across Punjab will change from October 15th onwards.
Due to the prevailing smog and the winter, the Punjab School Education Department on Monday decided to change school timings across the state, to avoid unnecessary difficulties, especially for the students during the weather change.
According to details, all public and private boys' schools in Punjab will operate from 8:30 am to 2 pm, Monday through Thursday, and on Saturdays. Friday's hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Likewise, girls' school will start fifteen minutes before boys' school, and it will be 8:15 am to 1:45 pm.
Nevertheless, the Secretary of School Education will soon issue an official notification of the changes in school hours, which will go into effect from Saturday.
