Parents should pay the fees, President APSA
The Central President for All Pakistan Private Schools, Kashif Adeeb showed his concerns regarding the opening of schools, collection of fees, and new admissions in a meeting on Monday.
While speaking to a meeting chaired by the Minister of Education Murad Raas, the president of APSA said that parents should submit the fees according to the new 20 percent discounted fee voucher sent by the school on a priority basis. "We request parents to submit the fees as the dispensing of salaries to the teachers directly depends on the collection of fees from the students", he said.
While addressing the concerns of APSA, the Minister of Education repeated that the lives of the people are the priority for the government. Therefore, the ultimate decision to re-open schools cannot be given at this crucial point when the virus has uptick across the country. However, he assured APSA that the government would ponder on the issues raised in a meeting.
