Pakistani students will receive free IT training from a German software company
The German Software Company "SAP” has established a student zone program at universities in Pakistan to promote IT, under which students will receive free training in IT, according to Express News.
While speaking at the media round table session under the title Digital Transformation - Cloud Migration, SAP's country MD announced that university students will have access to SAP software through the Student Zone.
SAP has offered student zones to all universities. This initiative aims to increase IT exports by promoting the IT sector in the country.
The need of the hour is to highlight the importance of digital transformation in Pakistan. He said Pakistan has difficulty implementing administrative changes as globalization is changing business methods.
Also in Pakistan, the development of software and solutions is crucial. Providing affordable software solutions in Pakistan is SAP's goal.
According to the Managing Director, SAP software is used by 62 percent of UN countries and 90 percent of global companies.
