Pahamify supports Indonesian government for implementation of curriculum

PT Pahami Cipta Edukasi (Pahamify) is an educational technology startup and a leading developer of learning tools in Indonesia. This startup claims to have created large number of learning videos as a business product. According to the data, Pahamify has been downloaded over 1 million times on the AppStore and Google Play between November 2020 and November 2021.

The government's intention to introduce the Prototype Curriculum in the 2022 Academic Year is completely supported by Pahamify.

"This curriculum will undoubtedly boost kids' independent learning. Pahamify will continue to evolve as a digital learning platform to deliver the finest learning experience possible so that students can better their academic performance," Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Syarif Rousyan Fikri said.

The Head of the Curriculum and Learning Center of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, Yogi Anggraena, explained "We want the material offered to be developed and elaborated rather than just content-based. As a result, what is communicated to children can be tailored to their specific needs.”

Yogi further added “project-based learning will be used in the 2022 Prototype Curriculum to enhance soft skills and student character. This curriculum is said to focus on vital materials so that students have enough time to acquire basic skills like literacy and numeracy in depth. The prototype curriculum gives teachers the freedom to adapt learning to students' capacities and to the local context and subject."
