Matric Exams update: No cheating or leaked papers
Matric Exams update: No cheating or leaked papers
On the second day of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examinations 2022, no case of question paper being leaked or cheating was reported, according to the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK).
The students, on the other hand, complained about heavy load shedding and lack of drinking water at the exam centres, according to the board.
Syed Sharaf Ali Shah, Chairman of the BSEK, and other authorities paid surprise visits to several test centres to assess steps taken to prevent cheating and question paper leaking which has been an ongoing issue since a few days.
Special teams also conducted random checks on students to ensure that no one was bringing any cheating materials.
The examiners informed the BSEK chairman that no candidate would be allowed to enter the examination room without first being thoroughly checked.
If the paper starts late, the board chairman instructed all centre supervisors to give students extra time. He also advised examiners to give students cold water and to avoid the cheating culture at all costs.
