Karachi University announces collaboration with Italian universities
In a signing celebration on Tuesday, Karachi University, Italian University of Naples L'Orientale, and University for Foreigners of Perugia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
A celebratory ceremony was held at KU's Latif Ebrahim Jamal National Science Information Centre in Karachi, with representatives from both universities participating. The Italian Consul General in Karachi, Danilo Giurdanella, and KU Vice-Chancellor, Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, signed on to the deal.
Through the establishment of collaboration programs for teaching, training, and research in different fields such as science, humanities, tourism, communication, social sciences, international relations, Italian language, and culture, this MoU aims to promote academic cooperation among participating universities.
The signing of the MoU marks an important step in the strengthening of academic ties between Pakistan and Italy. Both countries' education sectors will benefit from joint research projects, faculty exchanges, and other collaborative initiatives.
