Invigilators in Lahore unintentionally leak Matric Mathematics Paper
The yearly matriculation examination is now being held by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Lahore. The final paper of Mathematics was leaked at an examination centre due to the negligence of BISE Lahore.
The English paper for class 10 was supposed to be held today, according to reports. The invigilating personnel, on the other hand, delivered the mathematics question paper to the pupils instead of the English question paper. The final Mathematics exam was initially set for May 14th.
The BISE Lahore acted quickly once the invigilating staff reported the problem. BISE Lahore also arranged the English question paper on short notice, with the exam starting nearly an hour later.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) has acknowledged BISE Lahore's mistake. Secretary HED Punjab has also requested a report from Chairman BISE Lahore in this regard.
Secretary HED Punjab has promised a transparent investigation and that all those found guilty of major carelessness will face severe departmental consequences.
