HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test 2022
HEC has rescheduled the LAW GAT test for 2022. On October 23rd, 2022, the Law GAT will be administered. LLB graduates who wish to seek Bar Council registration must take the Law Graduate Assessment Test. In order to apply for LAW-GAT 2022, you must submit your application online by October 3rd, 2022, at the latest.
Through http://etc.hec.gov.pk, candidates who have earned a Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent from a university recognized by HEC/PBC can apply online. Prior to entering the legal profession, all LLB graduates must take the HEC LAW GAT.
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be included in the test. In the week leading up to the test date, applicants who have registered through the HEC online registration process will be able to download their Roll Number Slips through http://etc.hec.gov.pk. Test dates, times, and venues will be communicated to registered applicants by email/SMS. When filling out the online application form, candidates must provide a valid email address or mobile number. To enter the test center, you will need to bring a printout of your Roll Number Slip and your original CNIC. Applications for the HEC Law GAT 2022 must be submitted by October 3rd, 2022.

The application process is open to people who hold a Bachelor's degree in Law from a university recognized by the HEC and PBC.
HEC-Law GAT Test Centers
The Test will be conducted in the following centers:
- Islamabad
- Karachi
- Lahore
- Sukkur
- Quetta
- Hyderabad
- Abbottabad
- Multan
- Turbat
- Bahawalpur
- Peshawar
- Muzaffarabad
- Gilgit
- Faisalabad
From the list of test centers available on the application form, applicants may choose any test center.
There will be a test only at any of the above centers if a minimum of 100 candidates select it.

If you encounter any difficulties during online registration, please contact [email protected] or visit the HEC Secretariat or Regional Centers for assistance.
- In order to submit an application, you must complete your profile using the "My Profile" section and then submit your application using the "Law GAT Test" link on the menu panel in the left-hand sidebar.
- Applications for the LAW-GAT Test cannot be saved or stored if they are not submitted.
- Incomplete forms will not be considered.
- There is a test fee of Rs. 3000/- to be deposited online/at an ATM. The number is 1127900567403.

Bank draft/ Pay Orders will not be accepted
While completing the application form at the ETC online registration portal, applicants must upload a paid and scanned challan form duly stamped by any HBL branch.
Online registration closes on October 3rd, 2022.
Additional Requirements/Conditions
To pass the Law Graduate Assessment Test (Law-GAT), you must score at least 50%.
The Rules and Regulations of PBC will specify any other criteria applicants must meet.
The Law-GAT test can be taken 3 times. The test will be conducted by HEC 3 times a year.
