Global EdTech firm Cuemath expands into Oman
Cuemath is a one-on-one customized math lessons platform supported by Google. Over 10,000 teachers from various professional backgrounds lead the curriculum. Cuemath recently has a presence in more than 50 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, Canada, Egypt, Nigeria, India, and Thailand including 3 countries from the Gulf region; Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
The global edtech marks its fourth expansion in the Gulf region by expanding into Oman. This expansion comes on the heels of the company's incredible growth in the United Arab Emirates, where its number of subscribers has increased by 600 percent to over 180,000 users since June of this year.
Cuemath's math learning platform is well-positioned to assist Omani customers. The national, long-term plan of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to establish a diverse, sustainable economy and give good employment prospects for all, dubbed "Vision 2040," prioritizes technical and entrepreneurial talents, youth, and education. All of these topics help to round out the math and problem-solving skills that Cuemath teaches in a pleasant and engaging way.
"We are rapidly developing in the Middle East and are happy to expand into Oman," said Cuemath’s CEO Vivek Sunder. Oman has made significant reforms to encourage investment and diversify its economy under His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik's leadership. Because math abilities will increasingly be required in 21st-century occupations, now is an ideal time for Cuemath to join the Omani market. Our entry into the market is a result of high demand and positive word-of-mouth throughout the Middle East. We are certain that our Omani expansion will follow our regional success."
