GCU Lahore announces dates for undergrad admission test

Government College University (GCU) Lahore has announced the date for entrance test for undergraduate admissions in 27 departments which will be conducted between August 28 to September

According to the GCU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Asghar Zaidi, the university will conduct entrance test following coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs). Moreover, he said that the university will not conduct the Higher Education Commission’s Undergraduate Studies Aptitude Test (USAT) for admissions this year.

He confirmed that the test dates for each discipline will be posted on university’s official website and the selected candidates will be called for an interview between 13 to 15 September.

The VC added that the students appearing on the reserved seats, such as sports, co-curricular activities, and reserved seats for the disabled will be exempted from the interview.

Moreover, the GCU Societies Board has said the test schedule for undergraduate admissions on the basis of extra-curricular activities will be beginning from August 24.

The deadline to apply for undergraduate admission is August 23 and the date will not be extended, the VC said.
