Female Students Encouraged to Apply for HEC & USAID’s ‘Talent Hunt Program’
The Talent Hunt Program will soon accept applications from talented female students, according to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) (THP).
The THP is a USAID-funded merit- and need-based scholarship. THP's mission is to support skilled female students from lower-income families who want to study in prestigious Pakistani universities and colleges, with the help of financial aid.
In order to help female students with considerable matric and intermediate results gain entrance to the nation's medical, engineering, and general colleges, it also provides entry test preparation beforehand.
Here is everything you need to know about THP while waiting for the HEC to declare when the application portal will open.
Who Qualifies for Admission?
-
Candidates must be female citizens of AJK or Pakistan.
-
They must come from a low-income family.
-
Candidates must have: Attained an interpart-I score of at least 80% (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, and ICS)
-
obtained 70% or more in interpart I (Social, General Science, Art, and Humanities)
-
Differently-abled students and female students from remote or underdeveloped areas will be given preference.
To evaluate the applicants' eligibility, the HEC Committee will carefully review each application. Following that, the committee will create merit lists using the academic history and needs-based standards outlined in the THP. Final offer letters from the HEC will be sent to selected female students accordingly.
Candidates who are hired will get paid a stipend as well as complete a mock exam at the end of the training session.
