Federal board decides to mention “Promoted” on the result cards
Federal Board of Education has announced that the students promoted without examinations this year due to coronavirus pandemic will be mentioned on their transcripts.
According to reports, marks awarded for part II will be the best prediction of the performance and awarded based on the formula and guidelines approved by the Government of Pakistan. However, the board will specifically mention "promoted" on the result cards of the candidates.
However, the board has also given an option for students to sit for the exams in September and November special examinations. The result of the exams will be announced within 15 days, and the results of the special examinations will be final. The board also clarified that there would be no examination fees for the special exams. Moreover, all students will be given 50 percent marks for the practical exams based on their theory paper's performance.
The Board of Governor has also approved 3 percent grace marks to students sitting for Matric and Intermediate final year exams.
According to the sources, the governor's board has also decided to announce results for Matric on 15 or 16 July and Intermediate results after Eid ul Adha.
