Eight K-P varsities without VCs
The opposition benches in the provincial assembly have decided to take up the issue of eight public sector universities which have been operating without vice-chancellors for several months now.
Awami National Party (ANP) lawmaker Khushdil Khan has submitted a calling-attention-notice in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly in this regard.
The notice reads that permanent vice-chancellors have not been appointed for the Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan, the Peshawar Engineering University, Bannu University, FATA University, Khyber Medical University, Kohat University, Bacha Khan University Charsadda, and Nowshera Technical University.
