Educational Official in Chakwal Bans Co-Education
According to reliable sources, Chakwal's Deputy District Education Officer imposed a ban on co-education, indicating that males in grades six, seven, and eight would not be permitted to attend the district's government-run school.
They added that when DDEO (M-EE) Chakwal Arif issued notification no. 1729 on December 21, 2021, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chakwal Capt (R) Bilal Hashim and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Education took notice of the matter.

DDEO (M-EE) Chakwal Arid has been handed a show cause notice by the CEO Education Department.
Per the reports, DDEO (M-EE) Chakwal Arif has ordered all E/S Male Tehsil Chakwal head teachers to erase the names of female pupils enrolled in co-educational classes six, seven, and eight from the enrollment lists.
