BIEK Postpones Exams due to Karachi Monsoon Spell
Karachi's Board of Intermediate Education (BIEK) has postponed Thursday's papers (August 11th).
The following papers for the HSC annual examination-2022 have been rescheduled by the BIEK:
- Civics paper-II and Sociology Paper-II for (Arts regular and private)
- Statistics paper-II (Arts regular)
- Nursing paper (Home Economics group)
- Fine Arts paper-I (special candidates)
In accordance with the Pakistan Meteorological Department's (PMD) rainfall forecast, the decision was made.
These papers will be held at the same exam centres and time on August 22nd, said a board spokesman.
Several areas of Karachi reported light to moderate rain on Wednesday afternoon as citizens prepare for more rain forecast in the port city until August 16th.
From August 11th-16th Karachi is expected to experience heavy rains due to the fourth monsoon spell.
