Balochistan Announced Bi-Annual Matric Exam Dates

The schedule for the SSC biannual examinations in 2022 has been released by the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Quetta.

The tests will begin on October 4th, per the official statement. The deadline for submitting admission applications and the standard fee is August 25.

The deadline for submitting admissions forms is on August 31 with a fee of Rs. 500, and the deadline for submitting admissions forms with a fine of Rs. 1,000 is on September 7.

The registration cost for the twice-yearly exams in 2022 is Rs. 1,100. The cost for one paper in the science category costs Rs. 1,100, and the cost for multiple papers is Rs. 2,200. The cost for one paper in the arts group is Rs. 1,100, while the cost for several papers is Rs. 2,100.

Separately, the Education Department of Balochistan declared that due to the recent high monsoon rains and accompanying flooding last week, the summer break would be extended for educational institutions in the summer zone.

All public and private schools and universities in the summer zone will reopen on August 15th, according to the official notification. Due to the severe heat in May of this year, the Education Department declared early holidays for educational institutions in the summer zone. The summer break was scheduled to last from May 15 through July 31.
