Intermediate students from Karachi University can now enrol in Associate Degree (AD) programmes at the university's associated colleges.
The decision was made during a meeting on last week, which was chaired by Prof. Maqsood Ansari, the university's interim Registrar. The decision is effective immediately and will only apply to pupils who passed their intermediate exams in 2021.
Admissions to the linked universities' AD programmes in Arts, Science, and Commerce will begin on April 11 and the new session will begin on April 20.
The second set of AD programmes will be released. Karachi University admitted the first batch of AD students with intermediate students who had been promoted under the Coronavirus promotion policy last year.
Furthermore, the council determined that the annual exams for the first batch of AD students will be held in July this year, while the annual exams for the final batches of BA, BSc, and B.Com students, as well as supplementary tests for students from prior batches, will begin on May 20.
The yearly exams for BA, BSc, and B.Com will be held in stages, with the first phase beginning on May 20 with B.Com exams. The BA exams will take place in the second part, followed by the BSc exams in the final phase.
