A Budget of Rs3 billion was approved for Multan’s University of Engineering & Technology
For the year 2022-2023, the Punjab government approved a budget of three billion 70 million rupees for the University of Engineering and Technology Multan, followed by approval of the charge for the recruitment of 40 lecturers, professors and lab engineers. In the budget meeting, members of the Punjab Assembly represented Vice Chancellor Dr. Syed Mansoor, Justice Retired Khalid Alvi, Registrar UAT Dr. Asim, Dr. Rao Asif, Dr. Saima, and Dr. Sadiq.
According to Punjab Assembly members representing the government, funds have been made available for the construction of the university's new building. Education is a priority for the government, especially for girls and boys. So that students do not have to travel far from home, the government plans to establish universities at every district level. Construction on the new building of the university is 60% complete, and it will be inaugurated very soon.
