US Announces Plans to Invest $19m in Pakistan’s Education Sector
The United States has announced that it will invest 19 million dollars in Pakistan's education sector. By implementing the program, universities will be able to increase their capacity and create employment opportunities for their graduates.
The American organization organized a strategic dialogue on higher education in which the chairman of HEC and the vice chancellors of Pakistani universities took part.
The US Government has announced support for improving the quality of education in Pakistan through USAID's Education Office Director Anne Flaker.
USAID will spend 19 million dollars under the five-year program, which will not only improve university efficiency, but also provide graduates with job opportunities.
Pakistani universities will benefit from the funding by improving leadership, governance, and management.
