Sindh's Minister of Education and Culture, Sardar Ali Shah, expressed concern over the high number of students leaving school and ordered the education department to establish tent schools across the province to continue education.

The first tent school has been established in Umarkot after the permits were issued. As he inaugurated his hometown's first tent school, Sardar Ali Shah told the media that more than 25 lakh students have been killed as a result of the flooding and rains, which have also affected educational institutions across the province. They lack education and are unable to attend school.

Sindh's Education Minister said that the education of children has already been affected by Corona, and that floods have brought about the same alarming situation.

Many educational institutions in the province have been damaged by the heavy rains and floods, and water is still standing in many of them.

In addition to ordering the secretary of education to survey the damage done to educational institutions, Sardar Shah said he had also ordered the authorities to establish tent schools in all districts in order to improve the learning situation.

The Education Minister mingled with the children after inaugurating the tent school in Umarkot and also taught them a famous Sindhi poem as well.
