The Educators, Concordia Colleges sign agreement with NOON
A leading EdTech company, NOON, in partnership with The Educators and Concordia Colleges (projects of Beaconhouse), have signed a landmark agreement on education technology through their NOBLE (Noon Open Borders Learning Enablement) programme.
Noon, which is currently headquartered in London, is one of the world's fastest-growing EdTech start-ups, bringing some of the top professors to students in real-time. Through live lessons, quizzes, and social learning features, the Noon platform fosters active learning. Noon now has over 16 million registered students worldwide. Noon has offered to deliver its education technology platform, models, and services to deserving students across all the campuses of The Educators and Concordia Colleges in Pakistan, according to an official announcement.
NOBLE Vice President Bilal Musharraf stated, "We want to democratize high quality education in Pakistan and allow students to study from teachers they like, in a manner that suits them, and in a secure environment." "Through our platform, we hope to make the best teachers in Pakistan affordable, accessible, and available to all students in the country, thereby assisting them in achieving their life goals."
"Technology is enabling education in unprecedented ways, and it is now feasible to fraternise students through collaboration and learning tools that was not expected a few years ago," said Ali Raza, Group Director of The Educators and Concordia Colleges. With the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, there is a need to provide instruction to our students through both synchronous and asynchronous platforms in order for them to cope with the new emerging challenges. In collaboration, we will now provide educational content and technology to The Educators schools and Concordia Colleges. He also stated that the coronavirus outbreak has accelerated the implementation of asynchronous modes of education throughout their school and college system. "Through collaboration, The Educators, Concordia Colleges, and NOBLE expect to continuously innovate to give our students with learning options to support their educational needs."
This accord agreed to provide free access to learning applications, including complete courses, social learning elements, access to premium courses, mentorship and career counselling help, as well as skill set development through tailored courses, to students in Grades 9-12.
