Students in Azerbaijan won an EdTech startup competition
The EdTech Startup Competition is a competition for students held in colleges and universities, held by the Ministry of Education. The competition's main goal is to identify current issues in Azerbaijan's educational system and provide digital approaches to solve them.
The two-stage competition featured 244 teams out of which only top 10 teams qualified to the final.
Among which The AzPlagio team of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) won the first place in the final stage making them the winner of the competition.
The AzPlagio team received a ten thousand manats investment for the execution of their startup project.
The winning team’s members Ilgar Mammadov, Nazrin Gurbanova, Agamirza Fataliyev, Adil Maharramli, Bahruz Huseynov, and Ruhan Budagli are 4th year students of the Process Automation Engineering Department in Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
