For the next two days, the Private School Association has decided to close all private educational establishments in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Due to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-(TI) Insaf's planned lengthy march on May 25, the decision was made to avert any unpleasant situation that may occur in these circumstances.

All tests and exams scheduled on these days are postponed to later dates, according to the organisation, which has requested schools to notify parents about this decision.

Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Imran Khan reaffirmed on Tuesday that the long march against the "imported government" will be carried out at all costs. He further urged the nation to "break the chains of fear" and turn out in large numbers on May 25.

Separately, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has also decided to postpone the final exams that were planned for Wednesday, May 25.

BISE Rawalpindi has announced that the final paper of Pakistan Studies for matric students has been postponed due to the current law and order situation in the country. While the new date for this paper will be announced later, other papers will take place as planned.
