Punjab Govt changes the promotion policy

Lahore: Education Minister Murad Raas of Punjab announced that students will now promote on 50 percent homework basis to the next class.

After news broke, Murad Raas was holding a press conference that the educational institutions across Pakistan will reopen in three phases.

Speaking regarding the closing of schools, Raas said that the coronavirus pandemic had caused a lot of damages for students and set them back in terms of schooling.

He said, "Fifty percent of the students will come on one day and other fifty percent students on another." He also noted that this policy would be implemented till the vaccines are not available.
