Hunger strike call from students

Punjab students’ body called for a hunger strike in front of the HEC Islamabad office on Friday at 10 am (today) against failed online classes and universities demand for fees.

A student representative said in a recorded video on Thursday that students will come out of their houses with their laptops and barefoot. “A hunger strike camp will be installed in front of HEC building all students will record protest peacefully”, he added.

The students’ body on Wednesday threatened HEC on Wednesday that if their demands are not fulfilled, the students from across Pakistan will take to the streets and protest failed online education system and unfair demand for fees by universities.
