EdTech startup Virohan launched 10 new centres for healthcare education
Virohan is a healthcare edtech startup based in India that offers training to paramedical practitioners, Virohan is providing NSDC-certified diploma courses for students interested in becoming AHPs such as Medical Lab Technicians and OT Technicians at all of its centres. The training is delivered via videos, gamification, and real-time exams, resulting in enhanced student involvement and commitment.
The startup recently announced the launch of 10 new centres across the country in the states of Karnataka, Mumbai, and Gujarat. The startup's PAN-India expansion goals are supported by the campus launch, which brings together the country's healthcare workforce by offering aspiring AHPs with industry-relevant education and preparing them for future challenges.
"We intend to prepare the country for the battle against the pandemic in the future and to be ready for any unexpected crisis situation without confronting a shortage of healthcare professionals," said Kunal Dudeja, CEO and Co-Founder. We also plan to grow our collaborations and build centres across India with these ten new centres. With an all-time high of 91 percent, we are consistently providing internship and placement opportunities to all of our students."
He further added, “We hope to expand Virohan to 160 centres across PAN-India by 2022, with locations in Delhi, Haryana, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, and currently Karnataka, Gujarat, and Mumbai.”
The Google Accelerator and Amazon Accelerator have both recognized the company's efforts, and it was recently honored with the India Achievers Forum Award 2020.
