Court seeks cricketer Sarfraz Ahmed over Girls’ College dispute

Former national cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed has been summoned by the Sindh High Court on the issue of making a pitch within the boundaries of Girls College.

According to Express News, in the hearing held in Sindh High Court in North Nazimabad area of ​​Karachi, a dispute between former captain Sarfraz Ahmed, Sarfraz Academy and Girls College administration was discussed and arguments were presented by both sides.

It was informed by the management of Girls College that Sarfraz Ahmed has made a pitch in their boundary wall on which the court summoned Sarfraz Ahmed in person.

The court sought clarification from Sarfraz Ahmed on making the pitch within the limits of the alleged college and remarked that Sarfraz Ahmed should appear in person at the next hearing and submit reply on the land dispute.

Earlier, the principal of the college Hasina Fatima had filed a petition in the Sindh High Court accusing Sarfraz Ahmed of running an illegal academy and seeking an end to the occupation of the land, in which the college was given 7 acres of land and Acres of land was allotted for the academic block.

According to the request, Block N North Nazimabad Plot No. ST7 is a Rifai plot as per the master plan while Sarfraz Ahmed is running an illegal cricket club on behalf of the cricket academy. The court adjourned the hearing for three weeks.
