Skill-Lync, An EdTech Startup plans to hire 3,000 people in three months

The edtech company Skill-Lync announced that it would hire over 3,000 people by February 2022 to support its next phase of expansion. The Chennai-based firm wants to expand its operations in India and internationally, with fresh talent to be hired in sales, marketing, and operations departments, according to the company.

The company works with industry professionals to develop coursework that maintains a mix between actual experience and fundamental theory. It enables students to work on real-world projects using industry-specific analytical software and tools. Mechanical engineering, medical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, hybrid engineering, and aerospace engineering are among the five specialist courses offered by Skill-Lync. Skill-Lync claims to have seen a 5X rise in revenue in 2021, with a surge in demand for EV, OEM startups, and suppliers. By the end of FY30, it expects to have provided 10 million jobs to individuals.

To give students with a world-class learning experience, the firm has cooperated with more than 800 industry professionals to create its existing course content, and has full-time professionals with industry expertise from companies such as Bosch, Cummins, ABB, Samsung, and Accenture. 

Moreover, head of growth at Skill-Lync, Nikhil Mittal added that, as Skill-Lync increases its worldwide presence, they intend to ramp up their appointments for talented employees in the sales, marketing, and data science departments across numerous roles. They have witnessed a substantial increase in demand for their engineering courses, with over 40 masters and over 100 individual courses, and expect this to continue as edtech becomes an important service.
