Physics Wallah, an edtech start-up, is named India's 'Rising EdTech Startup at Rise Startup to Unicorn Conclave 2021'.
In the Rise Startup to Unicorn Conclave 2021, presented by Zee Media Group, Alakh Pandey, an education reformer working to bring revolution by offering inexpensive and accessible quality education to the public, was named 'Rising EdTech Startup of India.'
Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister of Railways, Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Transport and Highways, Narendra Tomar, Minister of Agriculture, and MoS Parliamentary Affairs and Culture The event was attended by Arjun Meghwal, Member of Parliament for Uttarakhand, and Anil Baluni.
KOO (India's social networking platform), Euler Motors (EV company), Moglix (B2B eCommerce retail portal), and Innov8 (India's largest co-working space provider) were among the other growth-stage startups in attendance.
Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal hailed the nation's growing entrepreneurs and acknowledged their contribution to economic growth, saying that today's digital environment, with widespread internet coverage, makes it simple to interact with startup ecosystems. The Startup Advisory Council was established by the Indian government to assist entrepreneurs in distant areas in taking advantage of government programmes.
"Physics Wallah started as a youtube channel in 2016 but released its mobile app platform in 2020 PW " Alakh Pandey, Founder and CEO of Physics Wallah, stated during the ceremony. Since then, EdTech has experienced significant development as students and parents have recognised the value of online education. During the Covid Crisis, we at Physics Wallah offered students low-cost courses and study materials to assist them prepare for the NEET and JEE exams, as a result, every sixth student from Physics Wallah took the NEET 2021.
