Teams NUSTAG and Hammerhead emerged as a winner at the Shell Eco-Marathon Student Event 2021

Islamabad: Five robust and innovative teams from all over Pakistan exhibited their novel vehicles at the Shell Eco-Marathon Student Event. NUSTAG, Urban, NED Racers, Envision, and Hammerhead were among the teams competing.

The Shell Eco-Marathon Students Event took place yesterday in Islamabad. One of the most prestigious student engineering competitions in the world is the Shell Eco-Marathon (SEM). The initiative has continually brought Shell's aim of powering progress with more and cleaner energy to life over the past 35 years. The show featured five aspiring teams from around Pakistan. The teams are getting ready to show off their futuristic automobiles at next year's Shell Eco-Marathon international competition.

In the Gasoline Urban category, GIKI's Team Urban, EME-NUST Rawalpindi's Team NUSTAG, and NED University of Engineering and Technology's Team NED Racers are among the teams demonstrating their projects.

In the Battery-Electric Prototype category, Team Envision from PNEC-NUST Karachi and Team HammerHead from GIKI competed.

Here are the winners of the Shell Eco-Marathon Student Event 2021

The judges have given their decision based on their fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly design.

The winning team in the Gasoline Urban category was NUST's Team NUSTAG. Whereas, Team Hammerhead from GIKI won first place in the Battery-Electric Prototype category.
