The Rural Education and Development Foundation is a non-profit educational network in rural Pakistan. The READ Foundation runs a network of 344 schools in eight districts of Pakistan including Murree, Gilgit-Baltistan and the outskirts of Islamabad/Rawalpindi

READ Foundation is mainly focused on the attainment of quality education in Pakistan. With much deliberation, READ Foundation has devised programs, in which collective measures are congregated to define parameters to provide education to all, particularly the children living in distant and remote areas of Pakistan with no educational facilities. Following are the four enduring programs of READ Foundation, functioning compassionately with the vision: Strengthening humanity for change. Orphan sponsorship, school opening, school building construction and school enhancement.
