To participate in exams, college students must have 70% attendance
College students in Sindh are required to attend 70% of classes in order to appear in exams administered by the Department of Colleges.
According to Express News, the Department of Colleges ordered the students not to sit for exams if their attendance in college is less than 70%.
The Secretary of Colleges stated that 70% attendance would apply to all government colleges in the province.
It is also reported that the Colleges Department has instructed teachers and principals to take measures to ensure students' attendance and enforce attendance standards.
