The Latest MDCAT Update
Pakistan Medical Commission has shared another update about the MDCAT, which has previously been cancelled on more than one occasion due to complications. This time, the organization has announced that the exam will be conducted at a provincial level.
Although official dates are yet to be confirmed, PMC has stated that the MDCAT exam will take place on the same day for Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Due to the flooding situation, it will be held in Sindh and Balochistan on a separate date, albeit on the same day as well.
According to the issued statement, the MDCAT will be conducted in the second week of November, 2022; PMC has also disclosed that despite efforts carbon paper may not be available for the written exam.
Marks will be allocated according to the normal format, with the passing criteria being 55% for MBBS and 45% for BDS.
The medical commission also announced that there will be no syllabus change to alleviate tension.
