The government has announced a 5-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr
The federal government has declared a five-day public holiday across the country in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.
There will be no school on Friday, April 21st through Tuesday, April 25th for Eid ul-Fitr. The Ministry of Interior has also issued a notification in this regard.
Researchers have predicted that on April 21st, the moon of Shawwal will be visible. In addition, Pakistan will have thirty full days of Ramadan this year.
According to Khalid Ijaz Mufti, Secretary General of Rawit Halal Research Council, on Thursday, April 20th, the Rawit Hilal Committee will meet to observe Shawwal-ul-Mukarram's moon, but the Eid moon will most likely not be seen that evening, so 30 days of Ramadan will be completed.
Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday 22nd April 2023.
