Teachers in Portugal demand a pay increase
Teachers in Portugal are demanding an increase in salaries, according to international media reports. A salary increase of at least 120 euros a month has been requested.
In protest against the government, teachers marched in the streets and chanted slogans. In order to live in peace with each other, they demanded an increase in the salaries of school teachers and workers by at least 120 euros a month.
It is difficult for teachers and their families to survive when millions of euros are spent on bank employees and pennies on teachers who shape the future of the nation.
In almost all of Portugal's major cities, teachers have been on strike since December, and school closures have prevented millions of students from attending school.
