The Sindh Technical Board has blacklisted a teacher who included controversial questions about migrants from the sub-continent in the examination papers.
According to the details, in the pamphlet on Islamic / Study Pakistan and Ethics for the third year of Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) under Sindh Board of Technical Education Karachi, it was asked that 'List down the problems that began after the migrants came to Pakistan’
Chairman Technical Board Dr. Masroor Sheikh while talking to Express News said that strict action has been taken against the examination centre and moderator on this issue and they have been blacklisted and directed the examination director Gul Mohammad Kund the exam papers should be checked first.
According to the chairman of the board, the moderator has also issued orders in this regard so that no such negligence occurs again.
On the other hand, the board has decided to issue a circular instead of issuing a formal notification for action against those responsible. The circular does not include the names of those against whom action has been taken.
Criticizing the issue on social media, the users said that the students were only asked about the problems the refugees faced after coming to Pakistan but this question was made controversial.
