Schools and colleges in Sindh announce winter holidays

There has been an announcement from the Sindh government about the winter vacation schedule for public and private schools and colleges.

Initial reports indicate that the province will begin its winter vacations on 20th December 2022 and end them on 1st January 2023.

According to reports, the Education Department's Steering Committee made the decision. Syed Sardar Ali Shah, Sindh's Education Minister, told the media that the sub-committee had decided to resume the institutes' activities on 2nd January 2023 following consultation with the sub-committee.

There has yet to be a formal announcement regarding vacations from the provincial Education Ministry. Thus, the final notification may differ slightly from the above dates.

The Punjab government also announced a two-phase winter vacation schedule for schools and colleges in the province.

School and college students in Punjab will be off during winter vacations in two phases, beginning on 23rd December 2022 and ending on 13th January 2023.
