The stakeholders are to assist Pakistani students returning from Ukraine in obtaining admission to Pakistani schools and universities, according to a senate panel's mandate on Thursday.

Senator Irfanul Haque Siddiqui served as chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture, which convened in person to consider the students' issue.

At a combined meeting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, HEC, and Pakistan Medical Commission, HEC officials advised the committee to conduct a comprehensive examination of the situation.

The chairman of the committee argued that this should be handled as a particular circumstance and pushed for action to be taken to allow the students to continue their studies in their native nation. The committee also addressed a public petition Din Kalam Khan Wazir had presented asking for the relocation of female teachers from dangerous and distant places to safe ones.

The move would receive the most support possible as a matter of their right and justice, according to Minister of Education and Professional Training, Rana Tanveer, despite the ministry's assertion that it is a provincial concern under the 18th Amendment.

The chairman of the committee made sure that the required procedure would be followed in approving the transfer of female teachers. Irfanul Haque Siddiqui emphasised that teachers are our nation's greatest resource and should be given security and supportive working conditions.

He promised to personally investigate the subject and find a solution within a month.

The Vice-Chancellor Peshawar also discussed the Tenure Track system (TTS) for faculty members at the University of Engineering and Technology.
