Ministry of Education asks Pakistan to offer more scholarships to Afghan students
Pakistani ambassador to Afghanistan Saifullah Khan met with Higher Education Minister Mawlavi Nada Mohammad Nadeem on Sunday to discuss scholarships for Afghan students.
Nadeem said Afghanistan and Pakistan are two neighboring countries that share many religious and cultural similarities. A successful educational relationship and scientific exchange between the two countries are essential, he said.
The acting ambassador of Pakistan was asked by Nadeem to cooperate in addressing Afghan students' problems in Pakistan. Ambassador Saifullah Khan assured Nadeem he would address Afghan student problems in Pakistan.
In this meeting, Khan said he would cooperate in resolving the problems of Pakistani students in Afghanistan.
The two sides also discussed improving educational relations, facilitating student visas, and sharing knowledge, according to the Ministry’s statement.
