Huge allowance approved for employees by GCU Lahore
GCU Lahore has authorised a new recruitment strategy as well as a 25% special allowance for all of its employees in grades 1 to 19.
The news came out after a recent meeting at the GCU, which was chaired by Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi. All members of the syndicate were present for the meeting.
The members resolved during the meeting to hold an open bidding process for the establishment of a bank on GCU's New Campus in Kala Shah Kaku. They also gave orders to invite bids as soon as feasible in order to help pupils.
The members also permitted non-gazetted university employees to complete extra work in exchange for a late sitting allowance. They also gave teachers and staff the opportunity to collaborate on consulting assignments.
The members also agreed to increase the research incentive in order to encourage professors to conduct more qualitative research in order to contribute to the country's development.
In addition, the syndicate validated all of the decisions made at the Academic Council's 26th meeting and the Finance and Planning Committee's 30th meeting.
