HEC's Law Admission Test Registration for LLB 2023
In order to enroll in a five-year LLB degree program at a public or private university recognized by HEC/PBC, and its affiliated colleges, candidates must pass the Law Admission Test (LAT).
There will be law admission tests conducted throughout the country by HEC. It is up to the students to choose the center of their choice.
The HEC Law Admission Test will take place on April 9th, 2023. March 27th, 2023 is the last date to apply for the Law admission test.
The HEC website allows applicants to submit their applications online.
For admission to the LLB program in any government or private university or college affiliated with the university, the HEC Law Admission Test must be taken.
Who is eligible to apply?
- Candidates who have obtained the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)
- Students who have taken the HSSC or equivalent final examination and are awaiting their results
Applicants who register through HEC's online registration process will be able to download their Roll Number Slips a week prior to the examination through http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
All registered applicants will receive emails or SMS updates regarding the examination date, time, and location. While filling out the online application, candidates must provide a valid email address or mobile number.
The roll number slip and original CNIC must be printed out to enter the examination center.

- A test fee of Rs.1800/- is required online/at the ATM or by bank transfer to Account No. 1742 7900 133401, Account Title: Higher Education Commission, Bank: Habib Bank Limited, Branch Code: 1742
- On the application form, applicants can select any examination center. Changing the examination center after registration is not possible
